I used paint for my medium. First I painted the background, then I traced out the trail, then I painted the trail, then I maped out the trees, then I painted the trees, then I painted the grass and leaves, and finally I added texture and details to the trees. The elements and principles I used were line, texture, contrast, shape, value, and color.
