About this School Project (1st - Remembrance Poppies)
The 1st grade students made poppies to celebrate Veterans’ Day. We talked about how people use poppies to remember those in the military. They were often the first flower to start growing in fields when battles were over. Students used a variety of lines to create the stems and petals of the flowers.
