About this School Project (Alma Thomas Colors)
1st grade students looked at the beautiful and colorful abstract flowers and sunsets of artist Alma Thomas. Using their knowledge of the color wheel and primary and secondary colors, students worked very hard mixing their primary colors with tempera paint to create these amazing torn and cut paper designs.
