About this School Project (Waterfront Shapes)
We looked at pictures of Rainbow Row in Charelston, South Carolina. The homes are brightly painted. We looked at the shapes of the doors and windows, and other details on the houses. After cutting out rectangles, squares, and triangles, we created houses using the shapes. They were glued to another pieces of paper with a road drawn on it. Reflections and waves were made with marker in the water. We finished this shape project by painting water over the marker lines to make the water look even more watery.
