Artist Statement (what Kellan784 said about their artwork)
My Lorca is a sea animal that travels throughout the ocean by slithering like a snake and flapping its tail up and down. It hunts by ramming into its prey until it dies and then eats it. It lives in salt water only.

About this School Project (Arch - Hybrid Creature)
Students experiment with Pixlr E, create backgrounds and find animals using Creative Commons and provide attribution to the photographer of the animals they selected to combine. This process helps them to learn their responsibilities in creating a work of art using technology.
The students also must understand how to use layers in a digital work of art to successfully design a new creature.
The final step is uploading to Artsonia and developing a story of their creatures' creation, discovery or habitat.
