About this School Project (K - “H” is for horizon line; “L” is for line; “N” is for neon)
Students learned that a horizon line is the line where the ground or water looks like it meets the sky. They drew a horizon line and a sun on their paper. Next, they practiced drawing different types of lines (straight, curvy, zig-zag, loopy, scallop) and used those to draw the rays of the sun and ocean waves using oil pastels. Finally, they used dot markers for the sky and tempera cakes for the water to create a beautiful sun-rise oil resist picture!
