Artist Statement (what JAEDA319 said about their artwork)
I don’t have one favorite part of this project because I like each aspect and how I tried to make it as real as possible. In this artwork was seeing how different color elements could be used to create highlights and shadows. When making the cake slice; I used blues, purples, and yellows to help create shadows that show the shape of the cake icing. And using a new type of technique to create the cake crumbs was a challenge but was a great opportunity to help myself grow as an artist.
