About this School Project (Hole in the Wall)
Students practiced their ruler skills by measuring out 1 1/2 inch bricks. Then students had to choose where to put a hole in their wall. Students learned about one point perspective and created the 3D looking brings using a vanishing point. Students added black chalk pastel to their bricks. The also cut the hole out and added black paper behind it. Students had to choose either warm or cool colors (plus black and white) to create a "space" scene. They also got to splatter white paint on it to make stars. They had fun with this piece!
