About this School Project (5th Grade Coil Pots)
Students in fifth grade created a coil pot! Students learned how to use the coil method to create clay coils and implemented techniques for layering coils onto a base to form a pot. Students used blending tools and their fingertips to merge the coils on the interior, leaving the outer coils visible. Once fired, students applied multiple layers of glaze to their work!
