About this School Project (Profile Portrait and Symbolism)
Students looked at artist Baya and Marc Chagall. We studied their lines, shapes, color, movement, and emphasis. We talked about abstract and folk art vs. realism. Each student learn how to draw a profile and talked about symbols that represent them. In their artwork you will see their profile and symbols that represent important things to them.
