About this School Project (Tim Burton Portrait)
Students learned about American filmmaker, animator and artist Tim Burton and his unique style of characters he creates. Students then draw a portrait of a person in the same style as Tim Burton using a variety of black, white and gray materials to create shades and highlights to sculpt the form of their character. Students make the corners of their papers dark (vignetting) to make their portrait look vintage or old fashioned.
