About this School Project ((Red) Color Monster Mash Up)
Students practiced combining simple shapes with lines to create monster faces with different expressions. They started with three 4 X 4 1/2" watercolor papers and drew an expressive monster on each. After discussing how color can represent mood or emotions, they chose which color to paint each monster. They also practiced resist, salt and color mixing techniques with watercolor.
