About this School Project (Organic Shape Creatures)
2nd grades students are learning about organic shapes in art class. We walked outside and looked at clouds, plants and cracks in sidewalks caused by the rain, sun and snow. Next, we looked at and discussed the artwork of Carla Sonheim who makes whimsical creatures out of organic shapes. Students drew their own organic shapes made their own very creative creatures.
