About this School Project (K: Line Owls!)
Kindergarten students learned all about different types of lines! We even listened to a LINE song to help us remember all the lines we can draw. Students drew different types of lines on their paper using oil pastel and then we used water color paint to paint on top of our lines because the water color repels the oil pastels to let them shine through! The second day of the project we worked on our night backgrounds and brown branches and drew on our black papers using construction paper crayons to make the colors pop! The last day we drew our owls together on top of our line paintings and used our best cutting and gluing skills to cut our owls out and make eyes, beaks, wings, and feet for our owls and glue it all together!
