About this School Project (Fauvist Landscapes)
Students in second grade analyzed the style Fauvism, and were tasked with creating a landscape that shows the illusion of depth. Second Grade artists had to overlap cut painted paper to create a foreground, midground, and background in a setting that they have personally been to. After sketching out their plan, students got to work cutting and pasting complex shapes.
