About this School Project (Organic Shaped Pumpkins)
Students in Kindergarten, Grades 1 and 2 learned about organic shapes. Organic shapes are shapes that are not specifically named or mathematically determined as geometric shapes are. Students drew an organic shape on orange paper, cut it out, and glued it onto a background paper. They used black or white paper to make the face on the pumpkin, using more organic shapes. They added details around the pumpkin using crayons.
