About this School Project (2nd G Fictional Landscapes)
Inspired by the textural drawings of Van Gogh, 2nd-grade students created textural landscape drawings using black crayon. In the following art class they added the element of color this time being asked to make intentional color choices and decide if they wanted to use realistic or imaginative colors....or a bit of both. We looked at the ways artists use colors to express or enhance the mood of their paintings.
