Artist Statement (what Madison57500 said about their artwork)

The subject matter in my artwork identifies who I am because I don't know how many situations I've been in would have ended without music. Lil Poppa's music is like my saving grace. He makes his music so easy to relate to and makes you feel like you're going through what he is because you can feel the emotion through his songs. My favorite part of this artwork is that I get to base this on my favorite artist and all things about me because you don't often get time to think about all the things that make you happy. My least favorite part is I worked digitally because I can't draw so it limited my project about him because it's hard to find things on the internet about a small artist. If I had the chance to create this work again I would change that I make this off my computer because I would love to draw and express through art how much I love his music. One new thing I learned while creating this artwork was the little things that make you matter.
