About this School Project (4-A Frida Kahlo)
About Frida Kahlo:
Frida Kahlo is an iconic female artist. Her signature unibrow and flowers and ribbons in her hair make her one of the world’s most recognizable artists. She was born in Mexico in1907 and is best know for her self-portraits that include various backgrounds. The 4th graders looked at her portraits with flowers and animals in the background for inspirations for their creations. The students' Kahlo portraits are made from a mixed media collage using tissue paper to make 3-D flowers for her hair.
