About this School Project (PreK Construction Birds)
PreK followed along with me cutting shapes. They got to choose their background colored paper -our "fancy" paper. They chose a red, blue, or black for their bird color. Yellow or orange for beak and legs color. We didn't draw any shapes first, cut from sight. We then used our shapes to construct our bird sitting on a limb. We put small circles of glue on the fancy paper, where we wanted each part. This helped us control the amount of glue and made it possible to go back and tuck tail feather, legs, and beak behind parts. Great decision making, cutting and gluing PreK!!
