About this School Project (Kindergarten Confetti Hearts)
Kindergarten students learned about rainbow order and reviewed proper painting techniques. They were asked to create a painting using all of their colors in rainbow order. Students then looked at the artwork “Confetti Heart” by Jim Dine and talked about what they noticed in his painting. Student learned about the Primary Colors and used paint sticks to fill in their heart shapes with lots of small marks like Dine. They finished their work with a bold black outline of oil pastel.
