My favorite part of this artwork is how the piece looks like a shark coming out of the water and that is really what I was going for. I think overall it came out really well and the colors work so well together.
About this School Project (Creative Pinch Pot with SSBS technique)
Students were challenged to make a ceramic piece that started with a pinch pot form and was altered by adding two or more pieces of clay using the Score, Slip, Blend, and Smooth technique. Results were varied as students were able to make functional pieces and decorative ones and bring their interests and imaginations to bear on the end product. Our gallery has decorated cups, jewelry holder, trinket trays, monster pots, and sculptures.
