Artist Statement (what Blake14928 said about their artwork)
I didn't really have an idea I just wanted to do a lot of random shapes and designs all around and the pot was just as basic as I could make good.
I made this pot with a lot of random tools that looked fun and I thought might look good. One problem I had was not knowing how deep I should carve and I even carved too deep on one scrape and had to add clay to fix it.
One thing I like about my pot is the glaze. I think the colors look really good together and complement each other very well.
One thing I could have done better is the glaze at the top. There is a section of white that I could have blended with the colors better.
I am pretty happy with this outcome because I think it is really nice to look at. I'll improve next time on some of the small details that I messed up but I am still happy.
