About this School Project (Radial Symmetry)
Students reviewed symmetry and learned what radial symmetry is. Radial Symmetry is repeating a pattern around a fixed, central point. Students also learned what printmaking is, the process of transferring an image from one surface onto another. Students made a relief print, by carving it into Styrofoam and creating a repeating pattern around a circle. Students then printed on painted paper.
