About this School Project (Dia de los Muertos Alebrijes!)
Second grade students got to learn about Mrs. Leary's favorite holiday, Dia de los Muertos! They got to choose whether they wanted to use a dog or cat stencil for their Alebrije, then painted skeletons inside of them. We added lots of color, design, and symmetry to our animal skulls to resemble sugar skulls. Then we made marigolds for the background and filled it with details! All while listening to music from Coco!
