About this School Project (Remembering Summer Self-Portrait)
The students learned the difference between "portrait" and "self-portrait" and created a self-portrait if half their face looking up towards a drawn cloud. Inside the cloud the students created symbols to represent things they remember from summer. The artwork was colored using colored pencils and the background was painted using watercolors.
