About this School Project (Joan Miro Constellation Inspired Artworks)
Students have been learning about Hispanic Heritage Month, which is September 15th - October 15th, every year. Students looked at artworks by Joan Miro in his "Constellation Series". Students learned about geometric & organic shapes & created two of each on their paper, overlapping them. They used a wide variety of bingo daubers to "paint" their new shapes they created. Students looked at their artworks, possibly finding some unusual creatures. Students used Miro's ideas of adding lines with dots, stars, & eyes to their artwork, to fill the space. Their artworks are out of this world!
