Artist Statement (what Dominika138 said about their artwork)
I made this Costa Rican oxcart wheel because we are discussing Hispanic cutlers during Hispanic Heritage Month.
First, I used a circle maker to make a large circle, I cut out the circle and folded it into eights. Then, I drew a design on one slice. Next, I traced the other seven slices using a light source. Then, I traced it with Sharpie and finally colored it with markers and color pencils.
I learned about radial symmetry and a bit about another Hispanic culture.
