Artist Statement (what Areej72 said about their artwork)
I chose the geometric color wheel. I used complimentary colors. I think I was successful. It was successful because the end result looks good. I struggled with mixing the colors. It was a struggle I think because I used marker.
About this School Project (Color Theory Project)
Students worked with color theories to demonstrate relationships within the color wheel. Students had to choose from Blown Ink, Geometric Color Wheel, Limited Color Skyline, and Color Theory Tryptic. Each Project explored a different relationship with color.
Blown Ink - Explored a Color Theory of their choice
Geometric Color Wheel - Explored Complementary Color Schemes with their relationship on the wheel
Limited Color Skyline - Explored how to work with a limited color pallet of 3 or less colors
Color Theory Tryptic - Explored how 3 color schemes relate to the same starting point color.
