Artist Statement (what Elle2940 said about their artwork)
I made a jar of everything I represent. First I made a pom tree because ever since I was little something about them fascinates me, next, I drew a 13 because that's my lucky number,(I play 5 sports and 13 is my number for all of them.) I drew a yummy slice of watermelon because it is my favorite fruit and my favorite food in general! Lastly, I decided to draw 3 flags that represent me: the American flag, the Greek flag, and the Italian flag because I'm from those places. I think something that worked for me in the process of making this jar was brainstorming all of my designs before I put them in my jar, and outlining everything in black. I had a lot of fun with this project of making me in a jar!
