Artist Statement (what Marley4712 said about their artwork)
In my neon sign project I decided to draw a pencil and for the color schemes I did primary, monochromatic, warm, analogous, and secondary.Sim0dee would use element of art is color by using the color to make the white pop so it would give the glowing affect. This is pop art because Andy Warhol said that pop art is anything you can recognize in a split second. I chose to draw a pencil cause I can draw a pencil.
About this School Project (Neon Warhol Pop Art)
Students learned about the element of art, color, and how it can be used to create emotion in our art. Some color schemes that were discussed are primary, secondary, warm, cool, analogous, complementary, and monochromatic. We talked about Andy Warhol and Pop Art and used this information to create color theory artwork for ourselves. This time, students learned about the artist Sim0ndee and how they create drawings that give the appearance of neon lights.
