Artist Statement (what Katelin625 said about their artwork)
I made a jar with all of the things that represent me. In my drawing I included people to represent my friends, a flag to represent America (where I'm from), food because I love to eat, a dog because I have a lab, the Dunkin' logo because I love Dunkin' refreshers, and the earth because we all live on earth. I used overlapping techniques to show depth, distance, and space. Something that worked well for me was sketching the symbols, and the challenging part was to make them look good overlapped. If I did this again I would try to over lap more of the symbols. On a scale from 1-10 I would rate my drawing a 5. I didn't love the concept, but I enjoyed making it.
