Artist Statement (what Yachi3 said about their artwork)
For my project I chose to draw my owala, lip balm and airpods. The reason I chose my owala is because I can’t live without having some sort of drink. To me my owala is like my literal baby and so I had to have it on my essential items. My second item was my airpods, to me music is a escape from reality and so if im too stressed i'm listening to music if i'm having a bad day I can use music as escape from reality. My third item was my lip balm as to me whenever I apply it boosts my confidence and makes sure i'm not walking around with crusty lips.
About this School Project (Unit 1 - Three Essentials - HS Intro to A&D - Sem 1)
Students used charcoal techniques to create a still life drawing, size A3 of ‘Three Essentials’. Students brought their own essential items, arranged them into still life compositions, and included a range of subtle values from light to dark.
