About this School Project (2nd Grade-My Community Paintings)
In this project, students learned about what makes a community. We talked about how as students we are a part of a school community here at Manor View Elementary. We discussed what kinds of buildings we often see in the community which helps them function. Students drew themselves in the center of their communities. They used shape when drawing their buildings, and then used color to show the difference between day and night.
