Artist Statement (what Harper11027 said about their artwork)
I am learning about Hispanic Heritage Month, and I created this artwork inspired by the whimsical art by Ale RB.
First, I layered in my drawings of the foreground, middle ground, and background with pencil. Next, I added color with markers and colored pencil. Finally, I outlined everything in Sharpie.
During this project, I learned a little bit about a Mexican artist, how to use perspective with foreground, middle ground, and background, and the importance of layering subjects.
