Artist Statement (what Pema39 said about their artwork)
The inspiration I had to create this is from the lavender at the bottom of the painting. I’ve seen many paintings with beautiful wild flowers, but what really catches my eye is the vibrant color of violet in lavender. My inspiration also came from a panting at my house that someone made for me, it was of an owl in the sand dunes or something, sitting on a pine tree with lavender beneath it, it also excludes mountains way in the background. Somehow with that particular painting, I had a connection to it. I always wanted to make something like that, so, I did!
The matirerials I used for this piece, are the vibrant colors of Acrilan paint and a paint brush. I used many techniques to create this piece, enclueding dabbing, blendding and many more, but in particular those two. I hope other people like me will be inspired by the vibrant color and textures I used and not only me but many other artists too!
