Artist Statement (what Kaylee17786 said about their artwork)
I chose to paint a kitten because it is national happy cat month, so I decided to paint a happy kitten playing with yarn. My favorite part of my painting is the kitten because it is SO CUTE. It has a personal connection to me because that squatting position is what my pride and joy, My cat, India, does when she comes onto my bed to sleep with me. India loves toys, so that is why there is a ball of yarn. I hope viewers will see my painting and go, “AWWWWW!”I also hope they will feel really happy when they see it.
