About this School Project (Shape Castles)
Students read the book "Shape Shift " and talked about all the different shapes and even learned some new ones. We also looked at some castle and garden paintings by artist Paul Klee who uses a lot of shapes in his work. We created our own castle artwork using many different types of paper shapes while practicing our cutting and gluing skills. To finish it off, we used metallic markers and glitter foam stickers to add details to our backgrounds. We are also learning more about the art room and how to take care of our art supplies. Great job artists!
