Artist Statement (what Kyla4131 said about their artwork)
It has lines and shapes. It has lots of color. I punched shapes. And I glued shapes.I made lots of color. I am proud of my work.I like all my shapes and colors.
About this School Project (Reed Compositions)
Students looked at artwork by the artist, Robert Reed. Students did concentric circles onto a square and added color with a material of their choice. Students cut that concentric circle design into smaller squares. Students used some of their squares, colored paper, shape punchers and other paper shapes to create a composition on a colored 6" x 6" square piece of paper to create a collaborative mural project.
