About this School Project (Charcoal Portrait Project)
Students learned how Ancient Greek and Romans developed standardized facial proportions for their sculptures that are still used today. They learned these proportions and practiced drawing human faces and finally created a finished charcoal portrait using these proportions and shading techniques they learned along the way.
