Artist Statement (what Charlee1919 said about their artwork)
I was successful with doing the lines in his hair. I struggled with the background because I kept messing up. I chose this hairstyle because Afros are fun to make.
About this School Project (Line Portrait Project)
This project focuses on the Element of LINE. Students were asked to find a photo of their choice (person or animal) and replace the hairstyle using line patterns. For the Animal option students were allowed to draw out their animal (or cartoon character) before adding the new hair style
