Artist Statement (what Makenzie6166 said about their artwork)
The kind of balance displayed in this sculpture is asymmetry. The snowman is melting to one direction and his hat is pointed towards the other for balance. I figured a melting snowman would be simple and still have character.
About this School Project (Balance Sculptures)
Students used the principles of balance, unity, and variety to create three small sculptures that demonstrate assymetrical, symmetrical, and radial balance. Enjoy the variety of themes and subjects they selected for their small scultures.
