Artist Statement (what Taylor40181 said about their artwork)
I was successful at creating designs for the section of the hair, it was successful at this because I came up with unique designs. I struggled with creating a design for the background. I struggled with this because I didn’t want a difficult design that I couldn’t keep track of. I chose this hair style for the cat to match the look on it's face.
About this School Project (Line Portrait Project)
This project focuses on the Element of LINE. Students were asked to find a photo of their choice (person or animal) and replace the hairstyle using line patterns. For the Animal option students were allowed to draw out their animal (or cartoon character) before adding the new hair style
