About this School Project ((Orange) Self Portrait)
We discussed shapes of facial features as the students drew portraits of themselves. Students looked at themselves in the mirror so that they could connect what they were observing with their drawings. They practiced tracing skills by tracing over their pencil lines with marker. They used colored pencils to add color. They looked for colors that they felt was the best match. They finished by coloring clothes and accessories.
