I made a visual drawing of lines showing emotions. I used color sticks scissors and glue. I also talked about what is in my control.
About this School Project (Circle of Control)
Students read the story "Exactly You! The Shape of Your Feelings!" by Sarah Krajewski. They read to understand how feelings can be expressed visually by using line, shape and colors. Students experimented with materials to create a visual feeling. Then we cut out our circle to create a positive and negative shape. We entered in a group circle to discuss our feelings and what is in our control or out of our control. The circle with visual feelings represents us and what is in our control. The outer paper with lines represents what is out of our control.
