About this School Project (Warhol Flowers)
First grade students were introduced to the artist Andy Warhol and watched a video about his life and Pop Art. We took a special look at his Flowers painting, and wanted to create our own with neon colors! First students printed with cardboard and neon green tempera paint to create the grass. Next they chose which bright neon colors they'd like to make flowers out of, cut out the organic shapes and added a bit of black oil pastel before gluing on to their grass!
