About this School Project (Surrealism)
Students learned about the art movement Surrealism, specifically the artist Salvador Dali. Students created a dream like landscape and learned how to make the pillars looks 3D. Students had to add stripes to the pillars by mimicking the top shape. They learned how to make bold color using colored pencil, how to create distance by changing the tone of the top colors. Students then cut out a photo of themselves in a pose they thought would be fun for the surrealist scene.
