About this School Project (205 Toucans)
As a follow-up to their jungle paintings, the second graders made scenes with exotic birds. They used various tints and shades of green to show a variety of values, and they added toucans in the foreground to create contrast. This gave them further practice with paint and paintbrush techniques, and it is making the art room look very summery!
