About this School Project (1 Miro Inspired Creatures)
Artists in 1st grade built on their knowledge of line, by learning about shape. They learned that in art there are 2 different groups of shape - geometric and organic. They drew creative creatures with a variety of lines and shapes, inspired by Joan Miro. They chose a limited palette for their work added color using careful coloring. Finally they added texture to their Sharpie drawn art with burlap and crayon.
