About this School Project (Gyotaku Prints (6th Grade))
The students learned about the art of gyotaku, or Japanese fish printing. Students covered rubber fish with a thin layer of black paint, and then pressed their papers onto the fish to create their artworks. They used colored pencils to add selective color and highlight areas of their work.
